The governing council also brought forward that it would be complex to change the schedule of the World Cup at this point in time. However, the BCB stayed firm over its stance. In the end, the ICC excluded Bangladesh from the World Cup, bringing Scotland as the replacement.PCB was not pleased with Bangladesh's removal from the World Cup, and subsequently conveyed the possibility of pulling out of the competition in solidarity with Bangladesh. The PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi in the follow-up conveyed that they will announce the final decision on whether to play the T20 World Cup on Friday or on Monday. Since no statement was issued on Friday, all eyes are on Monday.Pakistan trounce Australia in the 2nd T20IAway from the controversy row, Pakistan have showcased a brilliant performance on the field against Australia in the second T20I. Batting first, the hosts posted a challenging total of 198/5 after 20 overs. In reply, Australia got bundled out at 108 after 15.4 overs, losing the match by 90 runs at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Salman Ali Agha, who scored a brilliant knock of 75 runs, was adjudged the man of the match. With the win, Pakistan have won the series. They won the first T20I by 22 runs.
